Student leadership is an integral part of the Year 6 learning program.
All Year 6 students are involved in leadership through participation in student councils. There are four student councils:
- Liturgy Council
- Environment Council
- Sport Council
- Communication Council
Each student is placed in a council for Semester 1 and then rotates in Semester 2 to a different council.
The councils provide the opportunity to develop the responsibility and leadership skills of the students. The councils assist in a variety of ways throughout the school year – organising school liturgies, assisting at sports carnivals, running assemblies, supporting younger students and assisting in environmental projects.
