The APA plays a very important role in the life of the school. It acts as a liaison between the wider school community and the Principal. It encourages the development and growth of parental involvement through a range of school and community social activities. It aims to raise funds for the educational, social and spiritual growth of children at our school.
Aranmore’s APA foster community interest in education, promote closer liaison between school and community and assists with school amenities.
Meetings are held once or twice a term and are advertised in the school newsletter and term calendar.
The APA committee is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and general members. Each class has a parent representative to develop sound communication channels. All parents are encouraged to support this active association and membership is open to all.
