COACHES REPORTS 27th/28th July 2018
Dear Aranmore netballers – Well done to all our teams again this week. Keep up the hard work as the season comes to a close in a few weeks.
YEAR 3 TEAM GREEN
Team Green were back to their winning form this week with a 9-3 victory over Dynamites.
Again this week, the whole team were magnificent! Emily J, Kade and Audra were brilliant in goals. Mia was like a girl with 4 arms with all her intercepts. Hazel and Madi stuck to their players and and kept them out of goals. Emily P was a wizard on the wing.
Great job team! GO GREEN!!!

YEAR 3/4 TEAM SILVER
Team Silver great to see some awesome intercepts by our tiger in goals- Liam what a superstar. Maddie backed up her team in defence moving the ball down into play. Nina mirrored Maddie keeping our defensive strategy strong. Saige and Erika our power duo in centre court powered thru the game. Rose and Lexi are a match to watch out for- working our goal circle and keeping the ball in play. Well down girls, great to see our players working as a team and reading the pass- super exciting game to watch.

YEAR 4 TEAM GOLD
Aranmore GOLD Played against Newman Jaguars last week and came out with another win for the season. The team played and fought hard throughout the game. A Huge thank you to our fill in Coach Annie for giving up her time for the team. Well done to our Boys and Girls.!!

YEAR 4/5 TEAM RED
What a wonderful display of netball Friday evening by Team Red. We moved the ball so well and scored our highest score for the season. Our defence was impeccable keeping the other team to one goal. CIRCLE DEFENCE TEAM of Jack, Emmy, Lexi and Bianca – to keep a team to just 1 goal for an entire game was a great effort and the penalty count against was also quite low. You all played in front and took so many intercepts! CENTRE COURT team of Amalia, Bianca, Evie, Emmy, Tyler and Anabel – once again you chase down the loose balls and move the ball quickly. GOAL SHOOTING team of Jack and Anabel, Tyler and Amalia and Emmy – well done Emmy for having a go at GA – love your tenacity and willingness to give everything a go. Jack and Anabel – first time with this combination and you both really set our game up – well done to you both.

YEAR 5 TEAM NAVY BLUE
The Navy Blue team had a tough match again a tall Wembley Downs netball team on Friday Evening. Our defence was spot on once again just struggled to get the ball down the court into the goal circle. A special mention to Trinity who is out injured – we are missing you. I especially love your team cheer you all do together before each quarter…you are all such good sports and whether you win or lose you just love playing netball together.
