TEAM REPORTS 14 NOVEMBER

What a lovely afternoon for Spring netball with the sun shining. It was almost a bit too hot to play but the players did really well. I was most impressed with the sportsmanship from our Year 3 netballers who played Mount Hawthorn and they only had 6 players so our team agreed to share players so what a great example of sportsmanship from our youngest netballers. So WELL DONE to all of Team Silver and in particular to Alyssa L, Alyssa C, Olivia and Isabella who all played a quarter each for MHPS.

TEAM SILVER

Aranmore Silver had a tough match against MHPS with the result 4-3 going MHPS way. It was a really even match through all 4 quarters and we were unlucky not to have a win or a draw this time! There is always next week – our last game. Special mention to Neve for her efforts in defence and making space on the court. Also I noticed great leads from both Alessa and Isabella and both girls worked hard and both took some great intercepts.

TEAM NAVY BLUE

Well what a game! The girls came across some tough opponents and by quarter time they were up 3 nil to Churchlands. To Aranmore Navy Blue’s credit, they held their own and played the game. They won 11 to 3. Great game girls! Your passing to one another and calling for the ball was a pleasure to watch. Congratulations on a fantastic win!

TEAM ORANGE

Aranmore Orange had a tough game against Floreat Foxes tonight. With team members out with Band commitments and illness the rest of the team had to step up. The girls fought back into the game after a sloppy first quarter to come away with a 18 v 8 Win. Special mention to Robyn for her movement around the circle. Big thank you to Hannah for filling in for us tonight.
