A night of note for our talented students

For extension students at Aranmore Catholic Primary, Night of the Notables is something they work towards all year. It’s a chance to show their in-depth research on the life of an eminent and famous person.

The students select their ‘notable’ as part of their personal journey – who inspires them and why – and then through creativity and extensive and challenging research they display their findings to their family at friends on the night.

Adriana Coniglio, Gifted and Talented teacher said, “Night of the Notables serves and nurtures the autonomous learner. The student works at his or her own pace and to his own depth, free to take their investigation and presentation wherever they wish.”

It’s a night the students and their families really look forward to and enjoy. A night where our future notables ponder the past and the possibilities of what lies ahead.
