School Events

Our school was very fortunate this week to have two high profile sporting personalities come to visit.

What an astounding array of experiments and activities were held at Aranmore CPS this week as part of celebrating National Science Week.

Congratulations to Ansh Kabra in Year Three who has been placed on the Mathletics Hall of Fame for our recent Tri-Nations Mathletics event.

Congratulations to all the Year 6 students for their fantastic performance of The Rainbow Fish at the Convention Centre last Thursday night. The final comment on the adjudicator’s report was, ‘Thoroughly entertaining performance that was well-rehearsed and performed. Well done.

Attention all dads!! We are having a special prayer morning in dedication to all DADS at Aranmore CPS. On Friday 2 September at 8.00am, there will be a short prayer service followed by some light breakfast for Dads and their children.

Aranmore Catholic Primary School was an active participant in this event. Classes took advantage of any sunshine or adapted lessons to the classroom to learn and revise the importance of having trees in our environment.

Huge congratulations to our three amazing speakers who participated in the Speak Up Competition on Wednesday.

Well done to the Year Six Extension program students for their brilliant efforts on Monday evening.

The Year Three classes were fortunate to have an incursion today as part of the school’s ongoing focus on sustainability. Patrick Hamill from the Waste Wise Schools Programme came to speak to our students about the importance of being ‘Waste Wise’.

All mothers, with your child / children, are invited to a Prayer Assembly to help celebrate Mothers’ Day. The assembly will be followed by a Morning Tea for the mums in the School Hall.
