Thank you to all the families who came to the Mt Hawthorn ANZAC Prayer Service during the holidays.

It was wonderful to see so many grandparents at our special prayer service and then enjoying morning tea with their grandchildren and going on a journey around the school visiting classrooms.

On Thursday 8th March, Jason from Kaboomtoon came and paid a visit.

The generosity of the Aranmore Catholic Primary School community once again shone through as we collected over 25 boxes worth of donations for the St Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal

On Monday 27 November the Year Threes visited the Perth Observatory in Bickley. Our budding astronomers had an amazing day completing all of the interactive activities, making sundials and viewing the Lowell telescope amongst some beautiful landscapes and native wildlife.

The Year Threes were invited to experience a “Taste of Aranmore” at Aranmore Catholic College on Wednesday, 25 October. Students were captivated by the fun activities they spent all morning taking part in. Each student was given an opportunity to cook mini pizzas during Home Economics, complete science experiments with exploding balloons and dry ice…

Our Garden has been brought to life with our beautiful scarecrows. They are vibrant, colourful, individual and very lifelike!

This week we had a school full of ‘Wallys’ – Where’s Wally actually. The entire staff got into the spirit of Bookweek and they all dressed up as Wally!
