English:
1. Reading – with a focus on Comprehension
2. Writing – with a focus on Grammar and Punctuation

Spelling:
Phonological Awareness – developing phonological understanding and skills

Mathematics:
Implementing the RAISe Extending Mathematical Understandings (EMU) in Years one and two.
