Well done to all our teams in week 4 of Spring netball – with some lovely Spring weather! I hear from your coaches you are all working really hard so keep up the good work – you are doing Aranmore CPS proud.

Well done to all our teams in week 3 of Spring netball. I am so pleased to hear how well you are all going as new teams from the winter competition. Keep it up.

Our second week of ‘spring’ netball saw us with wet and cold conditions again but all three Aranmore teams played their best and are doing Aranmore proud.

Congratulations to our two year 5 and Year 6 teams who all finished their season off with winning games. Well done to all on a great season of netball you have represented Aranmore wonderfully well and we now look forward to the Spring competition.

Congratulations to all our teams but in particular to Team Silver, Gold, Red and Navy Blue have played their last game for the season.

We definitely were blessed with better weather for our games this week! But for Aranmore year Gold (year 3) they must of relished in last week’s conditions with a draw as they came out this week with a win, despite having some girls away with sickness – they clearly banded together and had great game – WELL DONE TEAM!

Our netballers certainly experienced Winter Netball this week with very cold, windy and torrential rain happening for most games. A special mention to our youngest netballers, our Year 3 teams who have never experienced playing in conditions like that.

Welcome back to netball and to WINTER netball for all our teams – the weather conditions varied from cold, wet and windy or a combination to all three! Great effort from our Year 6 Team Aqua to have a comprehensive win first week back defeating Churchlands Aquamarine 29-7.

Last week was our last week of netball before school holidays. I am sure all the players and coaches well enjoy a well earned rest before returning after the holidays. Well done to our Year 4 Team Navy Blue and Team Red on having a win last week.

Aranmore Team Gold faced a tough match against Wembley Downs 6. The girls definitely were outmatched and need to work hard next week.
